Standard Return Policy

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unused, unopened items in their original packaging with all components, hardware, and accessories included.

Requirements

  • Item must be in original, unopened condition
  • All components, hardware, and accessories must be included
  • Item must be in original packaging
  • No visible signs of installation, use, or wear
  • Proof of purchase is required

Restocking Fee

All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, calculated based on the purchase price of the item(s) being returned.

Return Shipping

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Due to the size and weight of our racks, we recommend using an LTL freight carrier. If you need guidance on return shipping options, contact us and we can provide carrier recommendations.

Refund Calculation Example

For a $1,299 rack returned under our standard policy:

  • Purchase price: $1,299
  • Restocking fee (20%): −$259.80
  • Return shipping: Paid by buyer separately
  • Refund amount: $1,039.20

Non-Returnable Items

  • Clearance, closeout, and outlet items are final sale and cannot be returned
  • Items that have been installed, used, or show signs of wear
  • Items returned without all original components and packaging
  • Items returned after the 30-day return window

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, email us at info@mtntekadventure.com with:

  1. Your order number
  2. The item(s) you wish to return
  3. Your reason for the return

We will respond within 1–2 business days with a Return Authorization and instructions. Do not ship items back without a Return Authorization — unauthorized returns may not be processed.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to reflect the credit.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, this is not a return — it's covered under our warranty or shipping damage process. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

30-Day Trial Program

Coming soon. We are developing an optional trial program that will allow customers to install and use their rack before deciding. Details will be posted here when available.
